power of God is revealing his wisdom, and it is seen by those who await him and live righteously. Even for those who have sinned and lived apart from God, he still deigns to bring them salvation. Paul is saying that God does not change—what Isaiah spoke of more than seven hundred years earlier is still true today. God is willing to show those who love him things that the worldly wise could never conceive or comprehend. And how does God reveal these things to those who love him?
